This mini leprechaun hat looks great when glued to a green headband and worn on St. Patrick's Day.

If you don't have a headband you can thread elastic through the sides so the hat won't fall off.

Step 1.

Print out the template opposite onto thick paper or card.

Carefully cut around the pieces of the hat and snip the dotted lines.

Remember to ask an adult for help when using scissors.

Step 2.

If you want to decorate your hat, now is the best time to do it. Remember green is the main colour for St. Patrick's Day!

Wrap the rectangular piece around and glue the tab to make a cylinder shape.

Step 3.

Dab some glue on the tabs at the top of the cylinder and carefully stick the top piece into position.

Do the same with the tabs on the brim piece and stick it to the underside of the cylinder.

Step 4.

Your leprechaun hat is finished! Thread some elastic or string through the sides, or stick it to a hairband to wear it on St. Patrick's Day.
